Two new compounds from Abies holophylla

AbstractPhytochemical investigation of the aerial parts of Abies holophylla led to the isolation of two new and 40 known compounds. Their structures were established primarily by 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic techniques. Compound 19 showed the most significant activity against the A549 lung cancer cell line with an IC50 value of 10.3 mu g/mL. (C) 2012 Phytochemical Society of Europe. Published by Elsevier B.V.
